Hormone Optimization with BHRT - Pricing

How much does it cost?

There is no up-front cost to speak to a physician about Hormone Optimization with BHRT. We do require you to provide a credit card during the scheduling process to make the checkout/payment process in the consultation session fast and easy. There is no obligation to pay for the blood test after speaking with the physician.

The first blood test will be determined by the physician in your first session and presented to you for confirmation. The cost of this first test typically ranges from $150-200 and covers all the testing to determine your current hormone levels.

After your first blood test results are returned, you will meet again with your physician to review the test results and determine your customized treatment plan. You will be presented with your all-in monthly price during this session. This monthly price includes the cost of medications and blood tests. Depending on when the next blood test is ordered by the physician, there may be a discount on this monthly price. For individuals on a 2-month testing cycle, the total price typically ranges from $300-375 per month but can vary based upon the number and cost of medications.

Will insurance cover Hormone Optimization with BHRT?

Unless you have clinically low hormone levels, most insurance carriers will not cover the cost of Hormone Optimization with BHRT. Testing your current hormone levels will determine if your levels are good, low, or clinically low.

Can I use my Health Savings Account or Flex Spending Account?

The short answer is typically no. Unfortunately, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) will not cover the cost of most prescriptions for BHRT. This is a big reason why we wrap the cost of prescriptions, along with testing, and the physician into an easy-to-budget monthly price.
